Authentication in SDH

To consume the SDH API, certificates accessible by the third‑party application or Azure‑based authentication are required.

Additionally, all requests to the web service must specify the unique identifiers of the company and the installation provided by SDH administrators.

Authentication based on certificates accessible by the third‑party application

For SDH authentication based on client certificates, the integrating third‑party application must have a certificate.
Its Thumbprint must be registered in SDH. It can be viewed or edited from the SDH web portal, under the Customer section.

Information

SDH currently accepts any type of certificate, including self‑signed or expired certificates.

Authentication based on Azure

For Azure‑based authentication in SDH, the integrating third‑party application must have the necessary credentials to access Azure.

Information

Azure certificates must currently be renewed as their expiration date is reached.
