Delete DeCA

This endpoint deletes a DeCA and its associated PDF from Azure Blob Storage.

Document retention

Order FOM/2861/2012 (Art. 9) requires keeping a DeCA copy for at least 1 year. Compliance with this requirement is the service operator's responsibility.

Maximum deletion period

A DeCA can only be deleted up to 7 calendar days after its creation date (day 7 is still allowed). After that, the API returns 409 Conflict.

Result

On success, returns 204 No Content with no body.

HTTP/1.1 204 No Content

Other possible results:

  • 404 Not Found: no DeCA exists with the specified id.
  • 409 Conflict: more than 7 days have passed since the DeCA was created, so it can no longer be deleted.
